It has always been Superstar Rajinikanth — he is addressed as Style Mannan in tinsel town. Now, it looks like our Ilayathalapathy Vijay is going to be hailed as ‘Style King’ by his fans after the release of his upcoming flick Thuppaki.
Going by the first set of stills that are up and running on the net, Vijay has apparently undergone an image makeover for the film. The movie is directed by Murugadoss, and Kajal, whose stars are shining in K’town, plays Vijay’s love interest.
Every time the Velayudham star talks about Murugadoss and cinematographer Santhosh Sivan, he gets hyper. “The duo works in perfect sync and at high speed.
But there is no compromise on quality! It was a new experience for me,” Vijay says. Insiders say that Santhosh has given Vijay a ‘new look’, and producer Thaanu, known for his grandeur, is blowing away money for getting those rich and stylish visuals.
“The onscreen chemistry between Vijay and Kajal was rocking and it was a treat to watch Vijay perform his dance steps,” says a unit hand.
While Jayaram appears in a role with grey shades, Sathyan will be seen in a comic role. Harris Jayaraj composes the tracks.
