Even as the countdown has started for Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, all eyes are on Vijay, who recently came down heavily on the ruling party in his interview to a Tamil magazine.
Buzz is that the Ilaya Thalapathi would start a whirlwind tour and meet his fans all over the State, to know their mood and aspirations. “He will make a decision on the completion of the tour,” sources close to him say.It is to be noted that Vijay’s father and popular director S A Chandrasekar met twice AIADMK general secretary and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. Rumour mills claim he might contest the Assembly polls on AIADMK ticket.
Meanwhile, there are also reports that the Vijay would visit the coastal town of Nagapattinam on February 22 to lead a protest demonstration to condemn the mid-sea killings of Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy.
