VIJAY & Rajini invited by Narendra Modi

Modi, the PM designate has extended an invitation to leaders  of NDA allies in Tamil Nadu and to Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa along with actors Rajinikanth and VIJAY.

Sources said that the swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held on May 21. It may be recalled that Modi had attended the swearing-in ceremony of Jayalalithaa as he was on her friends’ list.

Vijay had yesterday released a statement hailing the landslide victory of Modi and Jayalalithaa. Vijay had met Modi in Coimbatore and spoke to him. Vijay who termed the meeting as just a courtesy call said that he was amazed of the knowledge of Modi who discussed several matters and about the films that he acted.

DMDK Vijayakanth, an ally along with Vaiko and Dr Ramadoss are on the invite list and Dr Anbumani Ramadoss as well as BJP State President Pon Radhakrishnan. Two elected MPs of NDA are to get a berth in the cabinet in the next round of ministry expansion.

The buzz is that the first ministry will have only 15 cabinet rank ministers. Radhakrishnan and Anbumani are former Union Ministers. BJP-led NDA has emerged as the third largest political party in Tamil Nadu. It pushed Congress to the fourth place. In as many as 30 constituencies, DMK came second.

NDA allies in Tamil Nadu have said that even though it did not win any seats it would stick together for the Assembly polls. Only in Kanyakumari constituency did Congress come second as BJP had wrested the seat from it. Incidentally May 21 is death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi.

VIJAY Praise Anirudh for KATHTHI Songs

Anirudh said that Vijay speaks very less and he could not figure out the star's reaction for his work initially. It was after he composed the third song for the film, Vijay himself called him and said "anna paattu bayangarama irukkunganna" ("Brother the song is terrific").

Anirudh has also assured 'Kaththi' album will offer much to display Vijay's dancing skills and fans can expect a lot from their icon with regards to dance.

Anirudh also said that 'Kaththi' will be a big leap in his career and thanked A.R.Murugadoss for banking on him and also for giving enormous freedom in composing sessions.  

Kaththi First Look On JUNE?

Kaththi is A.R. Murugadoss's next outing with Vijay after Thuppakki. Samantha plays the female lead in the film. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sayaji Shinde and Sathish are in supporting roles.
Since, a new set of designers are currently working on the first look posters, the release of the first look is getting delayed. Now, we hear that the first look of Kaththi will be unveiled on June 22 which happens to be Vijay's birthday.
Kaththi is produced by Ayngaran International in association with Lyca Productions. Distributed by Sun Pictures, Kaththi is touted to be an action thriller.
